About Lzecher
A free gift to Klal Yisrael — honoring memory through the timeless power of Torah learning.
Our Mission
Lzecher was created as a free initiative, inspired by the timeless Jewish tradition of learning Torah for the elevation of departed souls. It is a gift to Klal Yisrael — never charging fees, never showing ads. We believe that when a community comes together to learn Torah l'iluy nishmas a loved one, the collective merit is immeasurable.
Our Vision
We believe that technology can serve the highest purposes. By providing a modern, intuitive platform, we remove the logistical barriers that often make it difficult to coordinate communal learning. No more spreadsheets, no more phone calls — just a clean, simple experience that lets people focus on what matters most: the learning itself.
Lzecher supports four learning tracks — Mishnayos, Tehillim, Shnayim Mikra, and Mitzvot — in four languages: Hebrew, English, Spanish, and French. A family member can set up a memorial page in minutes, choose their tracks, and share a link with family, friends, and community members around the world. Participants claim their portions and mark them complete, with everyone able to see the collective progress in real time.
Lzecher is built for Klal Yisrael. It is completely free to use and open to all who wish to participate in this beautiful mitzvah. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of respect, accuracy, and halachic integrity in everything we do. No fees, no ads, no compromises — just Torah learning as a zechus for the neshamot of our loved ones.
May the Torah learned through this platform be a zechus for all the neshamot in whose memory it is dedicated, and may their families find comfort in the unity and devotion of those who learn on their behalf.
