דברי זיכרון

William Zev Shakin Z”L, 25, volunteered as a lone soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) after graduating from university, serving as a Sergeant in the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion. A devoted Zionist, William resolved to help Am Yisroel in the wake of October 7th, and served in Gaza alongside his unit— whom he lovingly called his “Holy Brothers.” Upon returning to New York, William hoped to continue helping others and pursued his studies at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Yehi zichro baruch.
